If any other special cause is suspected, then those investigations will be added to the routine surgical profile.After that, date and time are scheduled for gynecomastia surgery. The patient has to get admitted as per the schedule. Fasting (both food and water) has to be maintained for at least 6 hours before surgery, and consent forms will be signed by the patient/relatives, the surgeon & anesthetist. The chest area will be shaved before the surgery. The patient will be taken to the OT. General anesthesia will be given which makes the experience more comfortable for the patient as he will remember falling asleep and waking up in the recovery room after the surgery.
